OZONE Contact Water V5: simple, safe and intuitive
The Contact Water V5 is OZONE's benchmark 4-line kitesurf control system: a clean, simple design, an easy-to-use trim system and the innovative Click-In Loop quick release.
Click-In Loop: as natural as a seatbelt
The push-away release fits comfortably in the hand and is quick to activate. A self-positioning mechanism locates automatically, ready to be reloaded by simply clicking in the loop. Inspired by a car seatbelt, it quickly becomes second nature: check your release before every session. The Click-In Loop is AFNOR NF S52-503 certified. Two release modes (below-the-bar recommended, and Expert mode for advanced riders) and three loop size options.

- Bio-based Dyneema® modular flying lines (500 kg front / 300 kg back), pre-stretched, spliced and sewn in OZONE's own factory, with a 90% lower carbon footprint than generic HMPE.
- Modular design: add or remove extensions easily via pigtail connectors.
- 3D-pressed ergonomic EVA grip, colour-coded with the lines for added safety.
- Lightweight aluminium centre piece, PU-covered depower line, stainless trimmer bracket, clamcleat trimmer, trim grab handle and relaunch balls.
Available versions
38 cm bar with 25 m lines; 45 and 50 cm bars without lines or with 13, 20, 23 or 25 m lines; 55 cm bar without lines or with 20, 23, 25, 25+2 or 27 m lines. Choose your bar size according to your kite sizes: 38-45 cm for small kites, 50 cm for medium, 55 cm for large kites.
Alpinefoil advice
Compatible with all OZONE tube kites (Catalyst, Reflex, Alpha, Edge, Vortex, Reo, Zephyr). For foil kites and kitefoiling, choose the Foil Contact V5. Contact us to choose the right bar / line combination.
