OZONE R1 V5: pure race performance
The R1 V5 is designed purely for hydrofoil racing performance. IKA Formula Kite registered for the 2028 Olympic cycle, it delivers incredible angles and riding speed upwind and downwind, with low overhead lift for high speed and super-fluid tacking manoeuvres.

True 2-line technology
The 10, 11, 14, 15, 19 and 21 m sizes (65 cells) feature true 2-line technology with only A and B line levels. Less bridling means less drag, allowing the kite to drive further forward in the window for greater speed and higher angles. The smallest sizes retain 4 line levels (A, B, C and brake) with a lower aspect-ratio planform and 51 cells, based on previous well-proven R1 designs. Fibreglass battens and Rigifoil technology keep the profile extremely stable.
Who is it for?
Racers and expert riders seeking absolute performance. For high-performance freeriding, the Mach1 offers part of this DNA with more accessibility.
Available sizes
9 m, 10 m, 11 m, 14 m, 15 m, 19 m and 21 m. Kite only (bar and lines sold separately), to pair with an OZONE Foil Race V5 bar. Custom-colour R1 kites are also available on request.
