OZONE Flux V3: high-performance freeride, no compromises
The Flux V3 takes everything OZONE learned from the double-surface Fusion and builds it into a rugged, easy-to-live-with Dacron airframe. The result is the fastest single-surface wing in the range, a true upwind specialist that stays durable and usable session after session. Stronger, lighter and more reactive than before, it delivers a sporty, direct feel the moment you power up. Leave your sensible side on the shoreline.
- Top speed and acceleration: the fastest Flux OZONE has produced.
- Master of upwind: point higher and claw your way back up the beach with ease.
- Zero-Movement carbon boom: no play at the strut junction, so every input goes straight into the sail.
- Thinner profile, especially at the tips, for easier pumping in light air and less drag as the wind builds.
- Huge wind range, letting a small quiver cover more days on the water.
- Durable Dacron frame: race-inspired performance without the race-wing price tag or fragility.
Who is it for?
The Flux V3 is built for speed-hungry intermediates and advanced freeriders who want long, fast, locked-in reaches and serious upwind angles. If your current wing feels a little tame, or you love carving fast tacks and gybes and heading out on open-water missions, this is your tool. Riders focused purely on wave riding and drift will find the Flow V2 a better match.
Technology
A redesigned centre profile keeps the wing driving forward through transitions, reducing front-hand stall in tacks and gybes. The hybrid canopy blends two grades of Teijin ripstop for long-lasting shape, backed up by anti-flap battens, a stiff leading-edge handle and large high-visibility windows. The carbon boom features a textured grip and an integrated bumper to protect your board.
The designer's approach
Designer Connor Bainbridge set out to carry the efficiency of the Fusion into a Dacron wing without giving up any of its toughness or ease of use. A wing built to go fast, for longer, without the fuss.
