New HAWK Carbon V3.0 - 95 cm

This is Version 3.0 of the Hawk

 Length 95 cm - Available in HR High Resistance carbon or HM High Modulus carbon, 
38% stiffer on the test bench, monobloc plate (US rail compatible)


  • the HR High Resistance carbon version is recognisable by its White / Orange sticker
  • the HM version is recognisable by its Blue / Red / White sticker and the UD high modulus carbon strip on the leading edge


Alpinefoil MCF technology (Monobloc Continuous Carbon Fiber): the mast features a "4-hole plate" type box integrated directly into the mast fibres.
It is therefore lighter and stiffer than a conventional mast with an integrated box.

AlpineFoil S-Shape patent: anti-ventilation system - an S shape with the mast moving forward on the fuselage, no ventilation or stalling whatever your speed 

Mast attachment point moved forward on the fuselage for more intuitive and natural turn initiation. As soon as the foil starts to turn, it follows the curve naturally without any rider input (like a carving ski versus a straight ski)

3D SHAPE for increased stiffness thanks to a progressive 3D width: thickness, width, height

The mast shape evolves along its whole length: thicker at the box end for more stiffness, thinner at the fuselage end to increase glide without losing stiffness.

Its strengths?

  • V3: Version 3.0 of the Hawk mast,
    • new mast profile (Alpinefoil moves to a new, more efficient hydrodynamic profile: more glide, less drag, more stiffness, better upwind ability)
    • new outline: the shape at the plate has been reworked in two dimensions and widened to improve control and stiffness in the upper section
    • new reworked plate, new fillets to increase fibre performance in the load areas.
  • 95 cm:
    • Much more amplitude in manoeuvres, easier tacks and jibes
    • Upwind: big gain in upwind angle, ideal for cruising, covering distance or racing
    • Big gain in stability at high speed: much easier to hold high speeds
    • Much more tolerance in waves, more ease 
  • Monobloc: 
    • Thanks to the manufacturing process, there is no visible joint between the mast and the box: mast and plate are made as one single part
    • a major gain in strength and stiffness compared with a plate bonded onto a carbon profile (traditional carbon mast construction)
  • 3D SHAPE:
    • the width and thickness of the mast vary in 3D along its whole height: optimised stiffness and glide
