The A1 Alu SL aluminium windfoil, AlpineFoil's answer:

A new generation is here,
born from many years of experience in foil manufacturing.

Starting from the observation that a windfoil's performance relies essentially on stiffness, we developed a foil that is dismountable and stiff at the same time.

AlpineFoil was determined to keep a high level of glide: this brand new A1 Alu SL windfoil (SL stands for "Slalom") offers a quite stunning Glide / Stiffness / Manoeuvrability ratio.

The new 105 cm fuselage fitted to the A1 Alu SL and its big brother,
the A1 Carbon SL, has many advantages:

  • Inspired by the A1 Race fuselage, it is longer, stiffer and stronger.
     
  • The wing shim angles have also been revised, bringing more control and manoeuvrability.

Thanks to all these qualities, it gives better take-off in the low range and more stability in strong winds: in short, this new fuselage turns your foil into a manoeuvrability and stability monster (hence the name "Slalom").

The A1 Carbon SL is one of the few dismountable foils that is this stiff, thin and light all at once.
This thin design ensures optimal flow for much better glide.

    une seule session d'une heure et déjà plusieurs centaines de mètres dans les airs sans forcer.
    l'équilibre longitudinal se fait naturellement, latéralement... je ne m'en suis même pas occupé.
    une vitesse sympas et des sensations inexplicables.
    facile sans être bridé. le top pour avoir les yeux qui brillent.

    Bonjour
    Quelle aile pour moi ?

    Poids 65 kg
    Navigation mac Léman
    Bon niveau en windsurf peu d'expérience en foil.
    Je désire naviguer par vent faible et me déplacer sur le plan d'eau (travers, près, etc)

    J'envisage d'acheter le A1 alpi avec deux ailes
    Flotteur rrd x fire 122 v4

    Choix d'un Alpinefoil A1 Alu avec aile ULW 1200 sur les excellents conseils de Damien Chaboud (au passage un énorme merci pour votre passion et encore respect pour cette disponibilité et ce sens du contact client).

    Déjà c'est un véritable bijou, finition au top, chaque détail est juste sublime (l'usinage du fuselage, la finition des ailes carbones, les inserts en tête de mat orientables pour s'adapter aux différentes planches avec des trous pas forcément alignés dans les usines des fabricants de planche, les cales, l'isolation galvanique)...la conception et la fabrication artisanale française dans ce qu'elle a de meilleur ! Ca respire la qualité et la solidité.

    1er test à Serre-Ponçon dans un vent pas évident (irrégulier genre 8-16 noeuds avant la pluie) pour ma première session de windfoil (je précise je fais aussi du kitefoil)...montage sur ma planche de slalom petit temps en toute confiance avec les supers platines de renfort pont et carène. 1er bord, 2 3 coups de pumpings et hop je me retrouve en vol pour une traversée complète du lac en lévitation. Totalement bluffé !

    Un super foil équilibré et qui facilite les premiers vols tout en laissant ressentir sa puissance et ses accélérations pour un plaisir sans limites.
