OZONE Torque V5: lock in, load up, send it
More speed, more control, bigger sends. The Torque V5 is OZONE's twin-tip for riders who like to be powered up. It comes alive when the wind is pumping, with edge hold that lets you resist more kite power and build serious load before take-off. The fifth generation is more reactive than ever while delivering greater comfort.
- Powerful edge hold for aggressive take-offs and bigger jumps.
- Locked-in control when fully powered in strong conditions.
- Fast and precise for high-speed freeriding.
- Explosive pop for freestyle.
- More reactive and more comfortable than the previous version.
Who is it for?
Intermediate to advanced riders looking for a performance board with powerful edge hold. For big air, it delivers the grip and control needed for powerful take-offs; for freeride, it is fast and comfortable; for freestyle, it provides a reactive platform to load up and pop hard.
What's new in V5
- Additional centre carbon reinforcement for more response and reactivity while keeping a natural flex.
- Refined tip shape and fin cant for a more comfortable, reactive ride.
- The board rides higher on the water, adding comfort and control in difficult conditions.
Torque V5 or Code V5?
Both boards are big air weapons. The Torque is lock & load: grip, control and speed when powered. The Code V5 is loose & lively: freer, easier to drive and smoother on landings.
From the designer
OZONE board designer Thibaud dos Santos rates both the Code and the Torque 10/10 for big air. In his view, the Torque holds an edge longer at the top end, and that extra grip makes it easier to pop, while the Code is easier to drive, less physical and offers smoother landings.
