The RSX 1400 G2 joins the other wings in the RSX lineup. With a very high aspect ratio of 13,2 the RSX series redefines the standards of water sports, offering ultimate glide, efficiency, and flow.
Designed for Pumpfoiling, wingfoiling, downwinding, and windfoiling, it allows you to take off very early and glide effortlessly over tiny swells, and perform at a high level in downwind conditions.

A direct descendant of the famous DW 1370, the RSX 1400 G2 marks a new milestone in the evolution of the RSX range. Designed to bridge the gap between the RSX 1260 and the RSX 1540, it embodies the perfect balance of immediate lift, high-speed glide, and baffling maneuverability for its size.

Crafted with passion in the heart of the French Alps, it benefits from over 15 years of Alpinefoil expertise in high-performance foil design.

Performance & Flight Characteristics

True Pumpfoil Versatility: Both fast and extremely agile, it offers impressive glide. It allows for several minutes of pumping to chase offshore swells or boat wakes.
Maneuverability: Thanks to its ultra-refined tips, it maintains the responsiveness of a much smaller wing despite its 132 cm wingspan. It allows for tight carving with immediate recovery.
Speed Range: Its design allows for very early take-off (exceptional low-end) while sustaining high top speeds, making it ideal for swell riding and downwinders.
Anti-Ventilation: The reworked vault and dihedral allow the tips to breach the surface during turns without generating any ventilation or loss of lift.

Dockstart / Pumpfoil: Offers an easy start, increased carving maneuverability, high speed, and a pumping frequency sustainable for long-duration sessions.

Choosing the RSX 1400 G2 means supporting a sustainable vision of board sports, locally rooted in the Alps.

European Carbon Technology: We exclusively use carbon from Hexcel (an Airbus supplier), guaranteeing aerospace quality with a short-circuit supply chain from Europe.

Innovative Materials: The wing's core was selected for its recyclability and low environmental impact during production, unlike traditional polluting foams.

"Zero Waste" Logistics: Every shipping box is custom-made in our factory upon order. This avoids cardboard waste and the unnecessary transport of empty space typical of standard packaging traveling halfway around the world.

In recent years, we've seen a real game-changer in foil sports. Nowadays, practitioners are multidisciplinary: they do wingfoiling, kitefoiling, windfoiling, downwind SUP foiling, and even pump foiling.

For this reason, Alpinefoil’s philosophy focuses on compatibility with all foils across all the disciplines of our brand. When we develop a new wing, we always take a cross-disciplinary approach. This means that the wings we design can be used for both wing foiling and other foil disciplines. Of course, they might be slightly more tailored to a specific discipline based on their characteristics, but fundamentally, everything is designed to ensure they perform well across various practices.

Moreover, all our wings are designed to be compatible with all the brand's stabilizers. The choice of stabilizer will depend solely on your preferences, skill level, and what you're looking for.

We’re committed to not repeating the mistakes of the past, especially those we encountered during our windsurfing days. Over the years, some board brands have changed how their fins connect, forcing users to switch boards just to use the latest fin models.

When we started designing and manufacturing our foils, our top priority was to create a universal fuselage/wings connection system that could accommodate nearly any foil wing shape out there.

Thanks to this mindset we kicked off back in 2010, all wings designed since then are compatible with all our foils. This approach makes Alpinefoil the only brand to have adopted such a compatibility-saving strategy, ensuring that your investment won’t lose value due to compatibility issues. It’s worth mentioning that some used foils currently lose up to 90% of their value simply because the manufacturer didn’t maintain backward compatibility.
