Hawk V3 Carbon 78: easier and faster than the V2

A 78 cm carbon mast, 14 mm in the water, with the plate built into the fibres. A nimble foil for wingfoil, kitefoil and pumping.

Foil Alpinefoil Wingfoil Hawk V3 - 78 cm

 

Main features:

  • Mast length: 78 cm. Also available in 86 and 95 cm 
  • Thickness: 14 mm in the flow zone 
  • Hydro profile: HAWK V3
  • Material: available in two carbon versions:
    • HR High Resistance (recognisable by its White / Orange sticker)
    • HM High Modulus (recognisable by its Blue / Red / White sticker and the UD high modulus carbon strip on the leading edge)
      38% stiffer for the HM version than the HR version (measured on a test bench)
  • Continuous-fibre monobloc plate: US Rails spacing compatible, for easy installation.
    • No fibre break between the plate and the mast
    • No bonding between the box and the mast
    • No fibre break on top of the plate
  • Fuselage machined from aviation aluminium with a sacrificial anode for better corrosion resistance (a marine technology), or titanium fuselage
  • Compatible with all Alpinefoil foil wings since 2010 
  • Wide choice of Wingfoil wings, optimised for the DW and RS wings

  • Compatible with kitefoil / Surf foil / SUP foil / Foil Pumping / Dockstart / WakeFoil

Alpinefoil MCF (Monobloc Continuous Carbon Fiber) Technology:

  • The mast has a “4-Hole Plate” housing integrated directly within the mast fibers, making it lighter and stiffer than a standard mast with a glued-on plate.
  • S-Shape AlpineFoil Patent: The S-shaped anti-ventilation system advances the mast on the fuselage, preventing ventilation or stalling regardless of speed.
  • Advanced Fixing Point: The mast is positioned further forward on the fuselage, offering a more intuitive and natural turn initiation. When the foil begins a turn, it follows the curve naturally without pilot input, similar to the way a parabolic ski turns compared to a straight ski.
  • 3D Shape: The mast shape evolves along its entire length, with greater thickness near the housing for increased rigidity, while remaining slimmer (14 mm) near the fuselage for improved glide without compromising rigidity.
