Why are Alpinefoil Wingfoil foils so different from other Wingfoil foils?

Designed and manufactured in France, AlpineFoil Wingfoils embody more than fifteen years of know-how and passion dedicated to foil technology. For every detail, nothing is left to chance: a long reflection precedes each innovation, and this is felt in navigation. AlpineFoil foils distinguish themselves by adopting a radically different philosophy, almost against the grain of the market – a bit like the "Black Ship" of foil, a model apart.
Firstly, our S-shape masts are an AlpineFoil exclusive, unavailable elsewhere. We push the singularity to the positioning of the mast, placed as close as possible to the front wing, to optimize feel and energy transfer. The attachment of the front wing is no exception: an ingenious system of four staggered screws guarantees unyielding rigidity and reliability.

Our inspiration comes directly from our diverse foil expertise, both in design and in field feedback. The result? A foil renowned for its ultra-reliability, exemplary backward compatibility, and unique transversality across all practices. In short, our foil wings are interchangeable: they can be mounted on our wingfoils, Windfoils, kitefoils, pumpfoils and wakefoils. This modularity also simplifies the resale of your wings, their compatibility appealing to practitioners of all disciplines.
Thanks to a refined hydrodynamic design and the use of high-end French and European materials: carbon, aviation aluminum, titanium – AlpineFoil foils promise pleasure, robustness and performance, whatever the adventure: freefly, freeride, freestyle, cruising or downwind, but also in wingfoil as in parawing or supfoil.
 

Unlike other disciplines such as windfoil or kitefoil, wingfoil requires neither rigging nor lines. This opens the door to much greater accessibility and lightness, and a quick launch. No more need for strong wind: a few knots are enough to enjoy all waters, sea, lake or pond.
